Network Exchange
Our students don't just learn about the world—they experience it. Through the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, students have opportunities to connect with peers and communities across North America and around the globe. Middle School students can participate in exchanges with Sacred Heart schools in North America, while Upper School students may take part in immersive reciprocal exchanges with sister schools around the world.
Whether studying abroad in Paris, hosting a peer from Sydney, connecting with students at another Sacred Heart school, or participating in a Summer of Service immersion experience, students broaden their perspectives, build meaningful relationships, and deepen their understanding of culture, community, and social justice.

My life at the Carrollton Sacred Heart School in Miami, Florida was filled with so many fun memories! ... Since they are so close to the water and beach, they offered beach volleyball as a team sport! I couldn't believe it! Of course, the common bond throughout all of our schools is the reference to the Goals and Criteria throughout the school day—the posted signs or the words spoken from the teachers. I found that comforting in an unknown place.

I attended the Sacred Heart School in Rome, Italy, known as the Institute of the Sacred Heart Trinità dei Monti of Rome. My exchange experience was wonderful for many reasons: I met new friends, I tried new foods, I saw ancient ruins, and I was able to see my family’s culture in the country of its origin. I was fascinated when we learned history in Rome because they learn about certain events differently than we do. Also, I found great comfort in knowing that I was attending a Sacred Heart school, even when I felt far from home. Isabella N, '24
