Sadé Clacken Joseph ’07 is transforming her passion for storytelling into a successful and inspiring career in the media world. She is a filmmaker, music video director, photographer, and singer-songwriter whose most recent film was selected for the Tribeca Film Festival.
Broadcast Journalism is not merely an elective at our school it is the first step of a lifelong journey for many students. Our alumnae go on to study at top media and filmmaking programs around the country such as USC, Syracuse University, NYU, and Elon. Lucy Adams '12 received a "Made in NY" grant for directing, filming, and editing a documentary short tentatively called "The Weight" about a 93-year-old sculptor, Lorrie Goulet. Lucy explores Ms. Goulet's life and legacy as she continues her seventy-year career from her studio in New York City.
