Parents Support Sacred Heart Greewich
Dear Sacred Heart Greenwich parents,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year and an extra warm greeting to new families. We are filled with gratitude for how parents energetically share their engagement, expertise, and support for our beloved school.
As parents to Charlotte in 9th grade, we see firsthand how her experiences at Sacred Heart Greenwich meaningfully and lovingly shape the young woman she is becoming and we are thrilled that our daughter, Camilla, will join the school this year in 7th grade. We are honored to serve as the new Fund for Sacred Heart Chairs and to partner with fellow parents to advance the school’s mission.
Two ways you can make your impact:
1. Be engaged
Your participation as a parent volunteer is a rewarding experience. School volunteers, in a survey last year, reported they enjoyed a highly positive experience and spent just the right amount of time volunteering. Volunteers shared that their favorite aspects included engaging with the community, giving back to the school, and connecting to their daughters' experiences.
2. Support the Fund for Sacred Heart
100% parent participation each year in the Fund for Sacred Heart is the school’s top philanthropic priority as parents unite to partner with Sacred Heart Greenwich to advance the mission. Parents donated an impressive 76% of the $2.3+ million raised for last year’s Fund. The school values gifts of all sizes.
Tuition and endowed funds alone cannot provide the distinctive offerings serving students and educators. Your contribution to the Fund for Sacred Heart provides vital, flexible resources, all applied to the current school year, transforming the programs and people supporting each student’s success. Stay tuned to receive your 2023-2024 Fund for Sacred Heart appeal in early fall from President Michael Baber.
For the parents of the Class of 2024, we hope you and your daughters enjoy every moment of this culminating year. A special thank you for joining together this year to honor your daughters’ journeys with your Senior Class Gift in support of the Fund for Sacred Heart and the school’s endowment.
We look forward to getting to know you and hope you will celebrate with us on Thursday, October 12th at the New Parent Reception and all school Celebration of the Heart Community Dinner.
