Welcome to Media Studies 2023
WHO WE ARE
The Media Studies program at Sacred Heart Greenwich offers students the opportunity to learn in a hands-on, real-world environment. After a year in the Intro to Filmmaking elective, Upper School students can specialize in Multimedia Production, Creative Filmmaking or Real World Filmmaking. The annual Film Festival allows students to share their work with a wide audience. Media Studies provides the foundation for a lifelong journey as many of our alumnae pursue careers in the field. Students learn from alumnae as class speakers and mentors via the Alumnae Media Network.
Filmmaking students expand their 21st century media skills by studying web design, podcasting, sportscasting, and social media content creation. Each student completes a web portfolio of their work. Follow us at @lightscameraheart & @shg_sportscasting to learn more.

Student filmmakers stepped into the spotlight last night as Sacred Heart Live electrified the Lennie and John de Csepel Theatre to celebrate the fifteenth annual Film Festival.
