Heidi is so excited to be playing Kate in Annie! She is a junior and recently played the roles of Mum and Henchman in Matilda, and was in the ensemble in The Phantom of the Opera, where she came to love this wonderful community. Heidi would like to thank her family and friends for their support. She would also like to thank Miss Gennaro, Mr. Lowery, Miss Giacomo, Ms. Gifis, and Grace for their hard work, creativity, and profound roles in making the show possible. Next, Heidi would like to thank Miss Gorman for her endless support, creativity, patience, and kindness, which make every rehearsal so special. Lastly, Heidi would like to thank the incredible cast of Annie. Life = much less hard knock with you all in it! She is so grateful to be part of such an amazing community. Enjoy the show!

Diana is a junior and is thrilled to be in her second Sacred Heart production! She was also in last year’s musical, Matilda, as the Magic, Big Kid, and a mum. Diana would like to give a huge thanks to Miss Gorman, Mr. Lowery, Miss Gennaro, Miss Giacomo, and Grace for all of their incredible hard work, dedication, compassion, and patience throughout the entire process of the production. She would also like to thank the cast for creating such a kind and supportive environment, and making this such a great experience. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Sarah is a senior and is playing the role of Bert Healy. She previously played the roles of Margaret and Balthasar in Much Ado About Nothing, Children’s Entertainer in Matilda, Abbess and Elise in The Three Musketeers, Porter in The Phantom of the Opera, Angus in Macbeth, Pilate’s Guard in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Netherfield Servant in Pride and Prejudice.

Kristin is a sophomore at Sacred Heart, and she is so excited to be a part of the Upper School production of Annie this spring! Kristin has participated in many shows, including Much Ado About Nothing, Matilda, and James and the Giant Peach at Sacred Heart, and A Christmas Story and Matilda at Curtain Call. Kristin would like to thank Miss Gorman, Miss Gennaro, Miss Giacomo, Mr. Lowery, and Ms. Gifis  for making this show happen, all of her fabulous cast mates for making this so much fun, and her family for being so supportive. Thank you so much for coming (virtually) to see the show, and enjoy!

Katie is a senior and is playing the roles of Pepper, Mrs. Pugh, and Eddie. She is so grateful to her family, friends, and the whole Annie cast for all of their support in this production. Special shout out to the orphan gang! She loves her orphies enough to make up for Pepper’s bad attitude. She owes a huge thank you to The Honorable Miss Giacomo Esquire who has provided excellent vibes and many laughs over the past four years, and to Ms. Gifis for her neverending generosity, compassion, and amazing dance moves. Even though Mr. Lowery doesn’t always wear his bracelet, Katie would like to thank her Assistant to the Music Director for learning the Wii song, and she guesses for everything else too. Katie doesn’t think it’s possible to thank Miss Gennaro enough for being the best person to go to for everything, including animal videos, but she knows how much she will miss seeing Miss Gennaro every day when she graduates. Finally, thank you to Miss Gorman, for the laughs, for the kindness, for putting up with Katie’s chaos in class and rehearsal, for helping her realize her passion for Theatre, and most of all for being an absolute superhero of a teacher. Josie is a sophomore and is playing the roles of Howe and Assistant Dog Catcher. She previously played the role of Dad in Matilda.

Michala is a senior and is playing the role of Rooster Hannigan. She previously played the roles of Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda, Rocheforte in The Three Musketeers, Angel Statue in The Phantom of the Opera, Second Murderer and Third Apparition in Macbeth, and she was in the ensemble of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Bianca is a freshman and is playing the roles of Hull and Star-to-Be. She most recently played the role of Elsa in Frozen Jr, and this is her first production in the Upper School.

Angélique is a junior and is playing the roles of Mrs. Greer and Ronnie Boylan. She previously played the roles of Dad and Big Kid in Matilda.

Isabella Stewart is a junior and is playing the roles of Roosevelt, Cecille, and Kid. She previously played the roles of Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, Escapologist in Matilda, Septime and Mother Superior in The Three Musketeers, Second Murderer and Messenger in Macbeth, and she was in the ensemble of The Phantom of the Opera.

Zöe is a junior and is playing the role of Grace Farrell. She previously played the roles of Tommy in Matilda, and Auctioneer in The Phantom of the Opera.

Grace is a senior and is extremely excited to be helping out during her final Winter Musical, Annie, as stage manager! This is Grace’s fourth show as stage manager, previously helping out in Much Ado About Nothing, Matilda, and The Three Musketeers. It has been a great joy for Grace to help out Miss Gorman, Miss Gennaro, and all of the production team in any way possible from keeping track of blocking to taking screen recordings on Zoom. Grace would like to thank the extraordinary cast for putting all they have into this unconventional production and maintaining the incredible energy through Zoom and behind masks. A big thank you also goes to Miss Gennaro, who’s hard work never goes unnoticed, as well as the effort put in by the entire production team. Finally, a huge thank you goes to Miss Gorman for letting Grace take on this role once more, and creating a beautiful show, even in these odd circumstances!

Jerry is so excited to be playing the role of Sandy! This is his first show ever and he was born to be a star! Jerry wants to thank his family and friends for all of the support in his first acting role! Jerry is so happy that he got to work with his best friend Char and he loves singing Tomorrow with her. He would also like to thank Miss Gennaro and Miss Giacomo for providing moral support when the blocking becomes hard, and Miss Gorman for believing in his potential and making him a really fancy bow. Jerry wishes that everyone enjoys the show as much as he does!

Shelby O’Shea is so excited to be featured as a stray dog in Annie! She is a 1-year-old Wheaten Terrier and this is her first time acting (although she has helped Katie prepare many a monologue), and Shelby prepared for her role by sitting on Katie’s bed during each and every zoom music rehearsal and greeting the cast during the breaks. She would like to thank her aunts and uncles (Pat, Molly, Thom, and John), and Katie’s parents for loving her always, chaos and all. Although she has only met the production team once or twice, she knows that they are the best people in the whole world and has loved working with them (and showing off her tricks to them) on this production. She hopes you enjoy the show!
