College Commitment Days
Prospective Athletes
Interested in playing for Sacred Heart Greenwich? We'd love to hear from you.
Our college commitment day will celebrate those Sacred Heart Greenwich student-athletes that have committed to compete in their sport at the DI, DII, or DIII level.
Who: Any senior that has committed to participate in intercollegiate athletics at the collegiate level. This includes DI, II, and III sports only. Students do not need to be signing an NLI to participate, though may do so at this ceremony.
The student does not need to compete for the Sacred Heart team to participate in the commitment day.
The student-athletes should invite their family members and coaches to attend. The Director of Athletics, Head of School, and other members of the SH Faculty and Advancement staff will also be in attendance. Media will be in attendance as able.
Requirements to Participate:
A committed student-athlete will have had extensive discussions and commitment from the collegiate coach and be formally accepted into the institution by the admissions office. Each student-athlete must meet with the Sacred Heart Director of Athletics to review their college commitment plans, details, and any other relevant information prior to the ceremony. This meeting can also serve as a planning meeting for the ceremony to make sure it works for each individual student. The athletics department and college guidance office will coordinate to help support the student-athletes as well. This ceremony is not for students intending to play club sports.
