Purpose

1. To generate a student-athlete voice within the Sacred Heart Community

2. To create a vision for student-athlete representation on campus and beyond

Duties 

Campus Outreach 

• Brainstorm and implement ways to promote SHG Athletics

• Work with the Assistant Athletic Director to promote games on campus- Social Media.  Create Videos and promotional posts for Game days, Playoffs, Game Day take-overs, day in the life, etc…

• Coordinate fun and engaging ways to unify athletic teams.  Be an active leader in activating and jumpstarting new ideas and programs

Community Service

• Actively seek out community service activities

• work with the Director of Community Service to bring community service projects to campus

• Share community service opportunities with the SAAC and Coaches

Other duties

• Serve as a liaison between the members respective sport to the committee and the athletic department

• Serve the needs of fellow student-athletes via leadership and support

• Promote a positive student-athlete image on campus and in the community by upholding the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Greenwich

• Assist in the growth and development of the SAACs

• Work to enhance student-athlete well-being on campus
