It was an amazing season for our squash program! All three Upper School teams, Varsity A, Varsity B, and JV, posted winning records; and our Varsity A and Varsity B teams made history on the national and New England (NEPSAC) stage.
Varsity A named the FAA Tournament Runner-Up (2nd place).
Varsity A took 4th place in Division I at the U.S. Team Squash High School Championships, our highest finish ever at Nationals!
Varsity A finished in 2nd place in New England - our best ever finish in Class A (Sacred Heart won the Class B title in 2008); Caroline Fouts ’24 was named the New England Champion in Class A.
Varsity B Squash was named the U.S. Interscholastic Team Squash Champions in the first year of the tournament.
JV finished its season with a 8-2 record, demonstrating our program’s depth and skill.
All three MS squash teams had strong seasons with each individual athlete improving throughout the course of the winter.
At Middle School Nationals, our A team finished 8th in Division I and our B team finished 7th in Division II.
Instructional Squash had the largest group of students to date, including the expansion to 5th grade for the first time.
Sacred Heart Greenwich opened a 35,600 square foot athletic center designed for women’s sports in September 2015. The facility includes three National Federation of State High School Associations regulation basketball and volleyball courts, six international singles squash courts, classrooms for health and physical education, a strength and conditioning room, a dance and yoga studio, and a sports medicine center in addition to locker rooms for home and visiting teams, a press box, and administrative offices.
