Highlights
Note from Varsity Head Coach Stuart Smith: The 2021 Varsity Soccer Team was characterized by its strong work ethic, togetherness and leadership. Led by a highly motivated group of 9 seniors and with a motto of “make it count”, they made sure they gave everything and took every opportunity to improve as a team. Season highlights were a pre-season trip to the Adirondacks, qualification for the FAA play-offs and a 2-1 win over the #1 ranked team in New England, Miss Porters. The team scored 40 goals on the way to an overall season record of 8-8-2 and an FAA record of 6-2-2. The season ended with a double overtime FAA quarter-final loss to Rye Country Day. It was a signature performance of resilience and determination but unfortunately it wasn’t to be this year.
- Varsity Soccer: The team scored 40 goals on the way to an overall season record of 8-8-2 and an FAA record of 6-2-2
- JV Soccer: Our JV Soccer team brought home a record of 10-4-2 and got 5th place overall in the FAA JV Soccer Tournament this season.
- 7 / 8 A Soccer: Our US teams look very promising with the talent shown in our 7th and 8th grade A team this season! They were undefeated with an 8-0 record. Way to go Tigers!
- 7 / 8 B Soccer: Our B team also had a hard fought season and came out with a 2-6 record. Don’t let this record fool you, they fought each game and brought everything onto the field every single time.
- 5 / 6 Soccer: It may have been the first time some of our student-athletes stepped onto a field; however, they ended the season with a 5-0-1 record; talk about GRIT!
