COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following evaluation at the Young Women’s National Championship (YWNC), held at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., U.S. Women’s National Team Head Coach Anthony Farry and his staff have named the 2021-22 U.S. Women’s National Team roster. This newly named 36-athlete squad has a depth of experience, but also a mix of young emerging talent.
Last month, the NFHCA High School All-American Committee created the High School IMPACT Senior Team to recognize members of the graduating class of 2021 whose senior seasons may have been impacted by COVID-19. The committee designed the award to honor the entirety of senior student-athletes’ careers and particularly recognize an individual’s accomplishments on and off the pitch, distinguished leadership, and team achievement.

The Upper School Track and Field team is the reigning FAA Champion, winning the inaugural meet in 2019. The team qualified a number of athletes for the 2019 New England Championships and finished 7th overall, one place better than the previous year. (There was no championship in 2020 due to COVID-19.) The team is currently undefeated this season, with a record of 8-0. They will compete in their last FAA meet on May 15th at Brunswick.
