Baccalaureate Mass: Thursday June 2, 2022 at 5:00pm
On June 2nd, Sacred Heart Greenwich celebrated its 173rd Baccalaureate Mass in honor of the Class of 2022. The Most Reverend Frank J. Caggiano, the Bishop of Bridgeport, celebrated the mass, and performances by the Upper School Bell Choir and Madrigals rounded out the service.
Class of 2022 Graduation: Friday June 3, 2022 at 2:00pm
In an inspiring ceremony, Sacred Heart Greenwich graduated 75 young women in the Class of 2022 on Friday, June 3rd. Commencement speeches were delivered by alumna and commencement speaker Emily Leitner '08, valedictorian Megan Maloney '22, and salutatorian Angeliqué Wheeler '22, who were each individually introduced by Head of School Meg Frazier. In the fall, Ms. Maloney will attend the University of Chicago and Ms. Wheeler will attend Yale University. Prize Days at Sacred Heart Greenwich bring together students, parents, faculty, and staff to celebrate student achievements in academics, the arts and athletics, as well as the personal growth of students and their community service work. For over two hundred years, Sacred Heart schools have celebrated Prize Days as a way honoring the development of the whole person and encouraging students to succeed to the best of their abilities.
Barat Center boys and girls marked the successful completion of their school year with Prize Day on May 27th in the School's chapel. Head of School Meg Frazier, Head of Lower School Jessica McGibbon, Preschool Director Frederica McGannon, Assistant Preschool Director Cynthia Mansfield, and Barat Center Assistant Teachers Diane Flieger and Lindsay Wund all remarked on the joyful learning, curiosity, and wonder they saw in the Barat Center classroom daily. Each student received a prize for their hard work as learners and creative thinkers over the course of the year.

Prize Days at Sacred Heart Greenwich bring together students, parents, faculty, and staff to celebrate student achievements in academics, the arts and athletics, as well as the personal growth of students and their community service work. For over two hundred years, Sacred Heart schools have celebrated Prize Days as a way honoring the development of the whole person and encouraging students to succeed to the best of their abilities.
During the Lower School Prize Day on June 1st, both Head of School Meg Frazier and Head of Lower School Jessica McGibbon discussed the joyful learning seen both inside and outside of the classroom all year. Dr. McGibbon also noted the Lower School students' gift to live fully in the present moment, a skill she hoped they would carry with them. Each grade level teacher spoke briefly about the many accomplishments of their classes before students were individually congratulated for their contributions during the school year by Mrs. Frazier.
Three fourth graders were recognized with the annual Lower School major prizes. Shannon Foley received the Hannah Barry Art Prize for her commitment to art throughout her years at Sacred Heart. The Annette Saraceni Memorial Book Award, given to the girl who shows outstanding enthusiasm for reading, went to Lillian Mendell. Mrs. Frazier presented the Philippine Duchesne Award to Mia Lynch; the award recognizes a student who demonstrates a steadfast purpose, a willingness to seek challenges and a generosity of spirit.

For over two hundred years, Sacred Heart schools have celebrated Prize Days as a way honoring the development of the whole person and encouraging students to succeed to the best of their abilities.
During Middle School Prize Day on June 2nd, we celebrated student academic achievements and recognized the dynamic spirit of the Middle School. Chloe Hill '26 led guests in an opening prayer before a performance by the Middle School Bell Choir. This was followed by the presentation of certificates of achievement by Head of School Meg Frazier to each individual student. After promotions and prizes, the Nightingales performed a song before Student Council President Elysia Shively '26 shared a heartfelt speech on her time in Middle School. After a reflection from Head of Middle School John Zwack, the ceremony ended with a prayer led by Margaret O'Hara '26.

For over two hundred years, Sacred Heart schools have celebrated Prize Days as a way honoring the development of the whole person and encouraging students to succeed to the best of their abilities.
On June 1st, Upper School students, parents, and teachers celebrated the successful completion of the academic year during Upper School Prize Day. Student Body President Charlotte Marvin '22 welcomed guests to the event and the Upper School Bell Choir performed prior to the presentation of certificates of achievement. Students were individually congratulated for their contributions during the school year by Head of School Meg Frazier, administrators, faculty, and special guests. After the presentation of awards, Senior Class Orator Caroline Hisler '22 reflected on her time at Sacred Heart before Senior Class President Anne Hamilton '22 lead the presentation of the senior class gift. The event concluded with the senior class parents presenting a gift to the school and a performance by the Madrigals.
