I always strive to strengthen and polish my dialogue skills. The Global Scholars Program resonated with me as it streamlines service and dialogue. Within the Sacred Heart Greenwich mission of service and social justice, the Global Scholars Program equips students with world language communications skills and cross-cultural academic experiences in order to thrive as responsible global leaders in a complex, diverse world.
Successful Global Scholars achieve advanced world language proficiency, demonstrate global scholarship through an integrated Senior Seminar service learning research project as well as course electives, and cultivate global citizenship through tailored intercultural experiences, which are curated in a digital portfolio and shared with the community. The program culminates in the award of a Global Scholars Program certificate, which will be given to deserving seniors at Prize Day.
