The Sacred Heart Greenwich track team has enjoyed an incredible season, culminating in a second place finish at the FAA championships at The Hopkins School. The team’s exceptional performance was highlighted by the performances of Victoria H.’24 and Grace Ann G. ’25, who smashed long-standing records in their respective events. Victoria broke both the 300m hurdle record with a time of 48.85 seconds, and she broke the 100m hurdle record with a time of 15.99 seconds. Grace Ann set a new discus record with a throw of 104 feet, 6 inches.
The team’s success continued at the Penn Relays The 4 x 100 team of Nova RM ’24, Victoria H, Juliette P, ’26, and Tiffany A.‘25 placed third and the 4 x 400 team of Nova, Laurie S. ’26, Victoria, and Tiffany placed fourth.
