Seniors Kick Off the Year with a Colorful Tradition

Seniors Kick Off the Year with a Colorful Tradition

In a vibrant display of school spirit and class camaraderie, the Class of 2024 opened their final year on Campus with the much-anticipated Senior Day. This cherished tradition marks the beginning of a year filled with many exciting celebrations and milestones.

The day’s festivities kicked off when seniors arrived dressed in their signature class color: red. This decision is made during junior year, when students vote on their favorite choice and create class rugby shirts for everyone in this color. Red is the perfect choice to represent the passion and vibrancy of this special class of students, and it aligns with the Upper School’s year-long theme, “Lead with Love,” which encourages students to approach their leadership roles with empathy and compassion. Seniors charged into the Upper School’s Morning Meeting wearing their shirts and igniting the entire community with school spirit and enthusiasm.

The highlights of Senior Day include the traditions of decorating one another’s cars with paint, banners, and balloons and the decoration of the senior window in the Core Center. The fun culminated in a special lunch and eagerly-awaited bestowing of senior privileges.

We are so proud of all that the Class of 2024 has accomplished, and we look forward to honoring and celebrating them again and again throughout this school year!
