Sacred Heart Greenwich Students Win Awards at the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference

In January 2026, eleven Upper School students represented Sacred Heart Greenwich at the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference in Philadelphia, one of the nation’s most prestigious Model UN events, drawing more than 2,500 students from around the world.

Throughout the conference, our delegates participated in high-level debate and diplomacy, strengthening their skills in public speaking, negotiation, and global problem-solving. Two of our students earned recognition while representing Costa Rica in the Organization of American States (OAS) committee, where they tackled pressing issues facing the Americas, including democratic backsliding and transnational organized crime.

The Outstanding Delegate award from the Ivy League Model United Nations Conference was presented to Catherine O. '27 and Gabrielle H. '27. Both students distinguished themselves through exceptional preparation, thoughtful diplomacy, and strong collaboration, standing out among hundreds of peers.

Congratulations!
