Sacred Heart Greenwich Senior Honored as 2024 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing High School Award Connecticut Affiliate Winner

Sacred Heart Greenwich is proud to announce that Lindsay T '24 has been honored as the 2024 NCWIT Aspirations in Computing High School Award Connecticut Affiliate Winner, recognizing her exceptional dedication to computing and technology. This notable achievement also highlights Lindsay’s future aspirations to pursue technology and become an engineer in order to solve world problems and positively impact humanity. “Lindsay constantly thinks about potential applications of what she learns in her classes,” notes Ana Nystedt, Upper School Computer Science faculty and Robotics coach. 

At Sacred Heart Greenwich, Lindsay leads as captain of both the Robotics and Math teams, utilizing competitions like VEX and FIRST Robotics to enhance her abilities. To further strengthen her skills, she also started taking all possible computing classes at school.

“My passion for creation has driven my curiosity in acquiring innovation and coding skills,” shared Lindsay.  “I have always desired to help people, and I believe that this field provides a path for me to simultaneously follow my passions and my heart.”
