Sacred Heart Greenwich Announces Arianna Chin ‘26, Clare Junius ‘26 and Nidhi Ray ‘26 Named as National Merit Scholarship Commended Students 

Greenwich, CT - September 23, 2025 – Sacred Heart Greenwich is proud to announce that Arianna Chin '26, Clare Junius '26 and Nidhi Ray '26 were named as 2026 Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSC). About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic achievements and placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2026 competition.

The NMSC, a not-for-profit organization established in 1955, honors the nation’s scholastic champions who exemplify academic excellence. High school juniors enter the program through participation in the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test which was offered in October.
