Upper School Zoom visit with Bishop Robert Barron

Upper School Zoom visit with Bishop Robert Barron

Our Upper School community received a surprise Zoom visit from Bishop Robert Barron on May 8. Described by Francis Cardinal George as "one of the Church's best messengers,”  Bishop Barron is among the foremost figures in American Catholicism today. He is an Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, #1 bestselling Amazon author, religion correspondent for NBC, and one of the world's most-followed Catholics on social media.

Bishop Barron is a figure who is familiar to many of our Upper School students. Some of his many resources, including his Catholicism video series and YouTube videos, are used in our theology classes.

Bishop Barron spoke to our Upper School community about how God is present even in this difficult time of coronavirus. Bishop Barron's message of hope and love lifted the faith and hearts of our community!

Greenwich Time: Greenwich student finds inspiration close to home for her artwork

From more than 850 submissions, 56 were selected for this year’s iCreate 2020 display. Katie Keller, a 2020 graduate of Sacred Heart Greenwich, learned how precious life is from watching her grandmother’s experiences with Alzheimer’s disease.
