"Key to the Heart" Green and White Gala Unlocks an Unforgettable Evening

On Saturday, May 6, 2023 the Parents' Association hosted the Green and White gala, “Key to the Heart,” an unforgettable evening celebrating the strength of the Sacred Heart Greenwich community and its commitment to excellence in education. The evening, held to benefit the School’s endowment, along with the Leadership, Health, and Wellness program, raised nearly $500,000. The community’s ardent support is a remarkable affirmation of the School’s vibrant and transformative mission and unlocks a bright future ahead for Sacred Heart Greenwich.

Nearly 400 guests were treated to a night of music, dancing, live and silent auctions, and an exquisite culinary experience curated by the renowned chef, Geoffrey Zakarian. Before dinner, Amanda Ciminello ’24 delivered a prayer, followed by student speaker Molly Kriskey ’23, who offered powerful examples of how a Sacred Heart education shaped her spiritual and intellectual formation. Guests also delighted in watching “Unlocking the Key,” a student video, created by Ainsley Clough ’25, Daphne Fallon ’25, Alex Rivera ’25, and Morgan Sfreddo ’25.

Event co-chairs, Lisa Ehrlich and Amanda Gaudelet, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support and dedication of the Sacred Heart Greenwich community. They jointly remarked, "The hours of commitment that went into planning, organizing, and executing a Gala of the caliber of Key to the Heart was extraordinary. The success of the Gala is a reflection of every single person who donated, volunteered, supported, attended, and invested in female education. Our school's endowment total continues to climb from the unwavering support of the school community. We are most grateful to all who played a role in seeing our shared vision of the Gala come to fruition. We are forever honored to have been asked to co-chair and eternally grateful for the success."

Parents’ Association President Jennie Stone added,  “This year’s Green & White Gala was four years in the making. The co-chairs, Lisa Erlich and Amanda Gaudelt created a breathtaking setting with a gourmet dining experience. As the Parents’ Association President, I was able to support all the gala volunteers, chairs, and committees. I’m so grateful to be able to witness the community coming together to support our wonderful school.”

"Key to the Heart" was a spectacular gala and also a testament to the collective commitment of the Sacred Heart Greenwich community toward the School's endowment. The event brought together parents, students, faculty, and friends who shared a common goal of ensuring the school's continued success and ability to provide an exceptional education for future generations.
