Kevin McCooey is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor at J.P. Morgan Securities where he is responsible for wealth management services for high-net-worth individuals, corporate executives, and institutions. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Securities in 2015, he spent over 15 years as an Investment Representative, first at Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management and later at Barclays. From 1998-1999, Kevin worked at The Griswold Company, an independent brokerage firm on the NYSE, founded by his family. 

Kevin serves on the Buildings and Grounds Committee at Sacred Heart Greenwich. He also serves on the Board of the Resurrection School Foundation. Kevin holds a BA from Georgetown University. Kevin and his wife, Jennifer, live in Rye with their two children, Erin ’28 and Kevin.

Lynne Newman P ’17 ’21 ’26 graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and was a three-sport collegiate athlete. After Amherst, she worked in sports marketing developing sponsorships in Major League Baseball and with the US Soccer Federation on behalf of corporate sponsors. She was also a member of the NY Host Committee for the World Cup. Mrs. Newman then received her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University where she was an FC Austin Scholar.  After receiving her MBA, she spent many years at Dove Consulting, a boutique management consulting firm in Boston, working on strategy and organizational development for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Mrs. Newman also led many of the firm's MBA and undergraduate recruiting programs.

Mrs. Newman and her husband, Brian, have been parents at Sacred Heart Greenwich since 2008. Their eldest daughter, Kendall ’17, graduated from Georgetown University, where Mrs. Newman serves on the Parent Leadership Council. Shay ’21 is in her second year at Georgetown, and Finley ’26 has been a student at Sacred Heart since pre-school. The Newman's son, Conor, also attends Georgetown.  Mrs. Newman has been a dedicated volunteer at Sacred Heart, with leadership roles such as the Lower School Parents’ Association Representative, Chair of The Fund for Sacred Heart, and Chair of the Senior Class Gift Committee.

Mrs. Newman is a dual citizen of Ireland and the US and has lived abroad with her family in multiple countries including China, Russia, Spain, Ireland and Canada.

Chris Marangi is Co-CIO, Value & Portfolio Manager at GAMCO Investors, Inc where he has worked since 2003. GAMCO Investors, Inc. is a pioneer in value equity. He manages the Gabelli Value 25 Fund, the Gabelli Asset Fund, the Gabelli ESG Fund, and Gabelli Media Mogul. Marangi has appeared on CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg television and radio and has been quoted extensively in publications including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Barrons, and Bloomberg. 

Chris serves as Chair on the Investment Committee of Sacred Heart Greenwich. Chris holds a BA from Williams College and an MBA from Columbia Graduate School of Business. Chris and his wife, Siobhan Toohey, live in Harrison with their daughters, Catriona ’22, Francesca ’24, Moira ’25, and Antonia “AJ” ’34.  

Sam Chawla is a Portfolio Manager at Perceptive Advisors and a member of the investment committee for the credit opportunities funds at Perceptive. Previously, he was Managing Director in the Healthcare Group at UBS Investment Bank. He also serves as a member on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences at Johns Hopkins University. Sam serves on the Finance Committee of Sacred Heart Greenwich. He holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Georgetown University. Sam and his wife, Stephanie, live in Greenwich with their children, Chloe ’29, Siena ’32, and Ryder.

For the last 20 years, Michael has dedicated his career to Sacred Heart education. His deep commitment to Sacred Heart's mission is palpable, and he possesses a range and depth of leadership experience in areas that are essential to our vision for the future, including philanthropy, community and stakeholder engagement, admissions, and financial aid.

From 2000-2014, Michael served in several roles at Sacred Heart Greenwich, including twelve years as Assistant Head of School. During his time in Greenwich, Michael led a capital campaign that raised $21 million, chaired the Education to Mission and Curriculum Committees, established a diversity committee, coached athletic teams all three seasons, and helped with the farming program during Summer Outreach. In 2015, Michael became interim Head at Schools of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana. He soon after accepted the role as Head of School at the Network's Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School in St. Louis, Missouri, where he led the community from 2016-2022.

Alana Ackerson is an Investment Partner with Connecticut Innovations, the strategic venture arm of the state of Connecticut. She is the co-founder of Figure Technologies and Provenance Blockchain. Previously, she was chief executive officer of a new subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, served as chief executive officer of the Thiel Foundation, and was a member of the board of directors for Opportunity International. Alana is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. At Sacred Heart Greenwich, Alana serves on the Institutional Advancement Committee and as a Fund for Sacred Heart Class Captain. She holds a BA from Stanford University, an MA from Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and a Doctorate in Ministry from San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Maureen Mara Brown graduated from Sacred Heart Greenwich in 1982. She went on to graduate from Boston College in 1986 with a BS in human development. She then completed her Masters of Education at Fordham University.

Maureen has served on the Greenwich-Maplehurst Alumnae Board of Sacred Heart Greenwich for the past five years. Maureen was instrumental in developing the Global Day of Service and is excited to continue and grow this event annually. An enthusiast of the traditions of Sacred Heart and a staunch supporter of the five Goals and Criteria of a Sacred Heart education, Maureen is honored and excited about her role on the Board of Trustees.

In addition to her volunteer efforts at Sacred Heart, Maureen has extensive volunteer experience in schools, hospital settings and more.

Some highlights include the fact that Maureen helped place over 30 children into Boys Hope Girls Hope residences and ultimately see them through as the first children in their families to graduate from high school and go on to college in her role as the program chair of the Detroit chapter of Boys Hope Girls Hope. Maureen also served on the national Board of Boys Hope Girls Hope for three years. Since returning to the NY-Metro area, Maureen has worked with the Child Development Department at Blythedale Hospital, coordinating events for families and patients.

Maureen has also served on many of the school parental boards. She was the Parents Association President of Kingswood Middle School, the Booster Club President at Cranbrook Kingswood and the Auction Chair of the Kaleidoscope School-wide Fundraiser Dinner. She went on to form the Booster Club at the Academy of Sacred Heart, Bloomfield Hills where she was also asked to be the President. 

Maureen and her husband Doug have five children. While living in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for 20 years, two of their daughters attended the Academy of Sacred Heart. After moving back to Greenwich, CT in 2014, her youngest child, Lily, graduated from Sacred Heart Greenwich in 2019. Maureen is an avid golfer who played for the Boston College Women’s Golf Team. She worked on the PGA tour with CBS Sports for a few years right out of college.

Imma De Stefanis, RSCJ, Ph.D. is a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart and currently serves on the leadership team for the United States-Canada Province. She earned her doctorate in Applied Developmental Psychology from Boston College and spent several years in higher education administration with a dual appointment in the department of psychology. She is the co-founder of SHERPA Consulting which provides nonprofit organizations with such services as strategic and sustainability planning, leadership training, and Board development. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, the Sacred Heart University in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

James Dougherty is a corporate partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP where he advises on a range of transactional matters, including mergers, spin-offs, leveraged buyouts, proxy contests, shareholder activism defense and corporate governance.

James and his wife, Janelle, have lived in Greenwich, Connecticut and been parents at Sacred Heart Greenwich since 2019.  They have three children, including their youngest, Blake ’30, who has attended Sacred Heart Greenwich since the second grade.  The Dougherty’s eldest child, Connor, attends Georgetown University, and their middle child, Aidan, attends Brunswick School.

James serves on the Investment Committee of Sacred Heart Greenwich and holds a BA from SUNY @ Geneseo and a JD from UCLA School of Law.

Mary Jo Dyer served as a Managing Director at Merritt Capital Investment Advisors and as a Vice President at TD Securities, focusing on the media and telecommunication industry. Mary Jo is an active volunteer at her parish where she serves on the Finance Council and as Youth Group Coordinator. She also serves the Diocese of Bridgeport, volunteering on several committees including the Finance Council. Mary Jo and her husband, Rob, chaired the Fund for Sacred Heart from 2021-2023. Mary Jo has volunteered as a Class Parent and member of the Welcome Committee for new students. She served as Vice Chair of the Institutional Advancement Committee in 2022-2023 and will serve as the Chair in 2023-2024. Mary Jo holds a BA from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from Georgetown University. The Dyers live in Darien, have one daughter Janie ’26, and three sons, Teddy, Jake, and Thomas.

Colleen Micciulli-Foley is an ardent volunteer and supporter of Sacred Heart Greenwich. She has Chaired Come Home for Christmas, served on the Education to Mission and the Fund for Sacred Heart committees, and acted as a Parents’ Association Class Parent. Colleen grew up in Staten Island and now lives with her husband, Thomas, in Rye. They have five daughters, Alexandra Foley ’15, Emily Micciulli ’17, Sara Micciulli ’19, Katie Foley ’28, and Shannon Foley ‘30, and a son Thomas Foley, Jr. 

Regina Fay Gannon is the Global Chief Business Development Officer at Apex Group Ltd., a private equity-backed financial technology firm supporting global alternative investment managers with fund administration, corporate services, digital assets, and fundraising solutions. She joined Apex from BlackRock, where she was Managing Director and Head of Private Credit Product Strategy and Capital Raising, a member of the Investment Committee, and led key institutional relationships and commercial strategy. Earlier, she co-led Aladdin Client Engagement for the Americas, overseeing major pension, endowment, and asset manager clients across portfolio construction, risk, and data strategy. She also led Aladdin’s Insurance Client Engagement team.

Prior to BlackRock, Regina held senior roles at J.P. Morgan, UBS Investment Bank, and Merrill Lynch, with experience spanning derivatives, custody, fixed income, and leveraged finance.

Regina holds a B.A. from Georgetown University (’90) and an MBA from the University of Chicago (’96). She graduated from Stone Ridge Country Day School of the Sacred Heart (’86). She serves on the Board of Trustees of Sacred Heart Greenwich as chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and is on the Board of The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. She is a member of Georgetown’s Ignatian Family Circle and is active with alumni fundraising and Class Reunion Committees. Regina lives in Connecticut with her husband, Frank, and their four children – Francis (23), Charlotte (21), Emmett (19), and Margot (16).

Katherine Hynes is a trust and estate lawyer at Gilbride, Tusa, Last & Spellane in Greenwich, CT. Previously she worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County and an Assistant County Attorney in Westchester County. Katherine currently serves on the board of the Round Hill Association and on the board of her family foundation. She previously served four terms on the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) in Greenwich. She holds a BA from Brown University, a JD from Fordham Law School and is currently studying for an LLM in Taxation at Georgetown University. Katherine and her husband, Thomas Scott, live in Greenwich with their daughter, Anne Marie ’38. 

Ann Jablonski, RSCJ is a member of the core team for Sophie’s Well: A Center for Sacred Heart Spirituality. She retired from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2010 where she was an associate professor in the Department of Education. She was also a contributing faculty member at St. John’s University in Queens, New York, Immaculata University in Pennsylvania, Walden University, in Baltimore, Maryland, and Kisubi University in Uganda. She has taught in Sacred Heart schools and has been a trustee in the Network. Sister Jablonski has authored scholarly articles in her field. She graduated with a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts, a MEd in Counseling/Psychology from Boston College, a master's in Educational Administration, and a Ph.D. from Fordham University. Sister Jablonski resides in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Kevin P. Kavanagh P’26, ’28 is the Founder & CIO of 7 Main Capital, an investment firm located in Rye, NY focused on Event-Driven and Special Situations investing.  Kevin attended Princeton University where he played Varsity Soccer and graduated with a BSE in Civil Engineering & Architecture.  He received an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College in 1997.  After Tuck, Kevin was a trader on the equity derivatives desk at Lehman Brothers.  In 2000, he joined Taconic Capital Advisors, a multi-strategy, event-driven investment firm based in New York City where he was named partner in 2003.  At Taconic, Kevin served as Global Head of Trading, Portfolio Manager as well as a member of the Investment, Risk, Management and Valuation Committees until leaving the firm in 2024.

Kevin has previously served as a Trustee on the Boards of the Rye YMCA and Regis High School and is currently a member of the Sacred Heart Investment Committee.

Kevin and his wife Amanda have been Sacred Heart Parents since 2022 and live in Rye, NY with their four daughters Julia, Elizabeth, Claire ’26 and Kaitlin ’28.

Dr. Alexandra Leah Lewis '01 is a graduate of Sacred Heart Greenwich and attended from 7th grade to 12th grade. She graduated with a B.A. in History of Science, History of Medicine from Yale University and earned a master's degree in International Health Policy and Health Economics from the London School of Economics. She attended the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and completed her anesthesiology residency at Harvard Medical School. She received additional fellowship training in thoracic anesthesia. Beyond her interest in anesthesia, she has also taken an interest in gender and global health issues. In 2019, she attended the Women Transforming Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, Oxford University. After her experience in Oxford, she decided to pursue her long-term goal of obtaining an MBA and recently completed her degree at Columbia Business School. Throughout her training, she has given lectures and speeches on intersectionality and structural discrimination in the workplace for national and international conferences. She is currently working on more international endeavors with a well-renowned female thoracic surgeon, Dr. Valerie Rusch. She is not only working to support their anesthesia training program in Rwanda, but using technology to encourage the exchange of information between the US and Rwanda. 

She also has co-authored numerous book chapters and abstracts on her scope of practice. She currently works as an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer. She serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs for the anesthesia division. She currently lives in Darien, CT. In her spare time, she volunteers for her church and fundraises to support book scholarships for underrepresented minority students in college. She currently serves on the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board and the Board of Trustees for Sacred Heart Greenwich.

As co-founder and managing partner of Line 49 Real Estate Partners, Paul McKeown leads capital-raising efforts, investor relations, and other strategic initiatives. He was the former head of the US Debt Origination team at Scotiabank. Paul is actively engaged in the life of Sacred Heart Greenwich, having served as a member of the Institutional Advancement Committee 2021-2022 and as the Chair of the Father’s League 2022-2023. He holds a BA from McGill University and an MBA from University of Notre Dame. Paul and his wife, Kelly, live in Darien with their children, Caroline ’25, Grace ’28, and William. 

Tim O’Malley is President of Argus Development, a homebuilding and real estate development company based in Old Greenwich, CT.

He serves as Chairman of the Buildings and Grounds Committee at Sacred Heart Greenwich. Tim holds a B.A. from Boston College. He and his wife, Lauren, live in Riverside, CT, with their three children: Patrick, Bridget (Class of ’33), and Katie (Class of ’35).

Vicky Rajca, RSCJ, is Director of Finance and Operations for the Stuart Center for Mission in Washington, DC. She has worked in the Network of Sacred Heart Schools for the not-for-profit sector as a teacher, a Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Operations. She has also served on several Sacred Heart School Board of Trustees, as well as on the Finance and Investment Committees of the Society of the Sacred Heart, United States-Canada Province. Sister Rajca holds a MSA in Financial Administration from Notre Dame. She lives in Washington. 

Brian Rigert is a founding partner of Silverview Credit Partners and a Portfolio Manager with over 25 years of experience in Leveraged Finance, Structured Products, and Corporate Credit Products.  At Silverview, Brian is part of the Investment Committee and has daily oversight of the firm’s core business.  Prior to founding Silverview in 2015, Brian served as a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, where he oversaw corporate and structured credit trading. Brian holds a B.S. in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Boston College and is a CPA.

Brian serves on the Investment Committee at Sacred Heart Greenwich.  Brian and his wife, Beth, have lived in Rye, New York since 2010 and have been parents at Sacred Heart Greenwich since 2019. They have four children, including two daughters who currently attend Sacred Heart Greenwich (Tessa '27 and Paige '29). 

Steve Ripp is the CEO of NIC Holding Corp., a refined petroleum and biofuel trading, marketing, and distribution company which owns a system of terminals on Long Island. He manages and serves on the board of directors of NIC’s joint venture with the Government of Panama, Petroterminal de Panama, which transports crude oil by pipeline from the Atlantic to the Pacific. In addition, Steve co-manages NIC Sustainable Investments’ portfolio of sustainable energy investments. He developed NIC’s FourGen subsidiary which provides savings on electricity costs to thousands of subscribers to its community net metering projects. Steve serves on the board of directors of the Long Island Association.

Prior to NIC, Steve worked in Citigroup’s Infrastructure and Energy Finance Group and as a management consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He grew up in New Jersey where from grades 7-12 he attended the Delbarton School, a Benedictine Catholic school for young men.  Steve has a BA from Dartmouth College, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and an MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Steve is a member of the Finance Committee of Sacred Heart Greenwich. He and his wife Ana live in Rye with their children Evan, Andrew, and Catherine ’31.

Margarita Sawhney serves as a trustee of POTS (Part Of the Solution), Hot Bread Kitchen, and Parish Council Church of St. Augustine, as well as a prior trustee at The Masters School. Previously, she worked as a software designer, developer, and technology consultant. She is on the Buildings & Grounds Committee and the Institutional Advancement Committee at Sacred Heart Greenwich. Margarita holds a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University and a MBA in Finance and International Business from University of Miami. She and her husband, Vik, live in Larchmont and have three children, Samantha ’24, Sabrina, and Sebastian.

Trish was born and raised in New York City.  In 2005, she and her husband, David, moved to Harrison, NY, with their 10-month-old son, William.  They went on to have three daughters and relocated to Rye, NY, in 2012.  The family joined the Sacred Heart Greenwich community in 2016, when their eldest daughter, Caroline, entered 4th grade.  Caroline graduated in 2025 and will join her older brother William, a rising junior, at Boston College this fall.  Their two younger daughters, Grace and Ashley, are a rising senior and rising sophomore at Sacred Heart Greenwich.

Trish has a long history with Sacred Heart schools.  She graduated from Sacred Heart in New York City (91st Street), where her sister also attended.  Trish’s mother-in-law, Margo Muccia, graduated from Newton College of the Sacred Heart (now part of Boston College), and her sister-in-law Anne is a member of Sacred Heart Greenwich’s Class of 1988.   

Trish met her husband, David, at Georgetown University, where she earned a B.A. in English.  She later earned her M.Ed. from the Boston College Lynch School of Education.  While pursuing her graduate degree part-time, she worked at Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in admissions, coached cross country, and taught French.  After completing her degree, Trish returned to New York City, where she served as Associate Director of Admissions at Sacred Heart 91st Street, in addition to advising students and coaching varsity cross country and track & field.

Trish has also served the Parents’ Association in various roles, including on the Spirit Wear Committee, Heart Homecoming, and as Vice President for the 2024–25 academic year. She looks forward to serving on the Board of Trustees as PA President this year.

Jaime Steers is the Head of Client Relationship Management at Klingenstein Fields Advisors, an investment advisory company. Serving as a central resource for clients, family members, and their external advisors, Jaime provides oversight across a client’s investments, tax, intergenerational wealth planning, and philanthropy. Prior to Klingenstein Fields, Jaime was an Associate Director at Truvvo Partners, an outsourced investment office serving ultra-high-net-worth, multi-generational families. She began her investment career at Willett Advisors, a single-family office managing the personal and philanthropic assets for Michael R. Bloomberg. She sits on the Board for the Westchester Children’s Museum and serves on the Sacred Heart Greenwich Institutional Advancement Committee. 

Jaime graduated from Sacred Heart in 2004.  While at Sacred Heart, she loved being a part of the Varsity swim team and served as team captain during her Junior and Senior years. Jaime continued her swimming career at Kenyon College, where she was a seven-time All American and NCAA champion in the 1650 yd. freestyle (2007).  She holds a BA from Kenyon College and an MBA from Fordham University Graduate School of Business. Jaime, her husband, Macy, live in Rye, NY with their three children, sons Will and Beau and daughter Sloan.
